How do I make a horizontal video vertical?

Add your video and pick a layout: Crop to fill cuts the sides so the picture fills the phone screen (slide Framing to keep the subject in view); Blurred background keeps the whole picture over a blurred copy; Black bars keeps it whole with black above and below. Then trim it and download the MP4.

Is my video uploaded?

No. The conversion runs in your browser, on your computer. The video never leaves it, and closing the tab clears it.

What size is a 9:16 video?

1080×1920 pixels is the standard for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. Free conversions are 720×1280, which every platform accepts; Felvero paid plans export 1080×1920.

Is there a watermark?

Free conversions carry a small “Made with felvero.com” mark at the top. On a paid Felvero plan, sign in and the converter exports 1080p with no mark.

Which browsers work?

Recent Chrome, Edge and Safari on a computer, and Chrome on Android. Converting takes about as long as the video itself, depending on your computer. Up to 10 minutes are converted at a time.

Can Felvero make the vertical video for me?

Yes: in Felvero you record over a teleprompter or upload a take, and it edits it into a vertical Short with captions, cuts and music, then posts it.
