Is this teleprompter really free?

Yes. No account, no watermark, no time limit. Your script stays in your browser and is never uploaded.

How does “follows my voice” work?

Your browser's speech recognition listens as you read and moves the text to the next word you need to say. Pause, ad-lib or repeat a line and it waits for you. It works in Chrome and Edge, and needs microphone access.

Can I use it with a teleprompter glass or mirror rig?

Turn on “Mirror the text” and the script is flipped horizontally, so it reads correctly in the reflection.

What reading speed should I use?

Most people speak to camera at 130–160 words per minute. Start at 140 and use the ↑ and ↓ keys while it runs to find your pace.

Can it record me too?

Yes, in Felvero: the Record studio puts this teleprompter over your webcam, records the take and turns it into a finished Short with captions, cuts and zooms. It's free to try.
